Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his first English Premier League hat-trick in Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Leeds United on Sunday evening.
Aubameyang, 31, has struggled for consistency throughout the current campaign but roared back into form with a well taken treble.
The Gabon international opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a low drive past the goalkeeper before converting from the penalty spot following a foul on Bukayo Saka.
Aubameyang, who scored three in a 4-2 Europa League win over Valencia two years ago, completed his second hat-trick for the club two-minutes after the break and could’ve had four on the night, but was denied by the woodwork.
He has now scored 11 goals in 23 matches across all competitions this season.
