Josh Maja had a starting debut to remember for Fulham in a 2-0 Premier League win over Everton on Sunday.
The Nigeria international joined the London club on-loan from Bordeaux at the start of February after falling out of favour at the French club.
After coming off the bench in a 0-0 draw at home to West Ham United, Maja made an immediate impact in his first start for the Cottagers.
The 22-year-old opened his Fulham account with a close-range finish from a Ola Aina cross before completing his brace with another predator’s finish, after Harrison Reed’s initial effort cannoned off the woodwork.
Victory reignited Fulham’s survival push and moved them within seven points of safety ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Burnley.
