Orlando Pirates, Enyimba handed tough Caf CC group

Orlando Pirates and Enyimba have been drawn together in a highly competitive 2020-21 Caf Confederation Cup Group A where they are joined by Algeria’s ES Setif and Libyan club Al Ahli Benghazi.


The Buccaneers reached the 2015 final before losing on aggregate to Etoile du Sahel who have been seeded alongside fellow Tunisian giants – and record three-time champions CS Sfaxien – in Group C.


Defending champions RS Berkane headline Group B which includes Zambia’s Napsa Stars who registered a controversial win over Gor Mahia in the play-off round.


Last season’s runners-up Pyramids FC are in Group D alongside Nkana FC and most notably: 2018 champions Raja Casablanca. They will be joined by either Namungo FC or Primero de Agosto who are yet to play their second-leg play-off round fixture.


The Tanzanian club recorded an incredible 6-2 win over their Angolan counterparts in the first-leg hosted at Dar es Salaam’s Azam Complex. The reverse fixture is set for Thursday.
