Youssef En-Nesyri has reportedly been identified as a possible replacement for Erling Haaland at Borussia Dortmund, were the in-demand Norweigan to leave the German Bundesliga club at the end of the 2020-21 season.
According to Eurosport, En-Nesyri is top of Dortmund’s list of potential targets amid growing speculation of Haaland’s future.
En-Nesyri only joined Sevilla from Leganes in January 2020 after the Europa League champions triggered his €20 million release clause.
West Ham United were reported to be interested in En-Nesyri’s services earlier this year but having signed a contract until 2025, the forward’s services won’t come cheap.
The Morocco international has enjoyed a solid season and has scored 13 times in 25 LaLiga matches, 17 in 38 games across all competitions.
His goal tally includes two hat-tricks against Real Sociedad and Cadiz respectively. Both trebles came in January, just two weeks apart.
Dortmund host Sevilla in a Uefa Champions League Round of 16 second-leg tie on Tuesday evening.
