A clash between former African champions Orlando Pirates and Enyimba FC will headline Wednesday’s CAF Confederation Cup group stage match-day two action.
Pirates are set to welcome Nigerian giants Enyimba in a Group A match at the Mecca of South African football, Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.
South African giants Pirates started their group stage campaign with a 0-0 draw with Algerian side ES Setif last week, while Enyimba defeated Libya’s Al Ahli Benghazi 2-1.
A North African Derby clash between Setif and Al Ahli will take place at the Petro Sport Stadium in Cairo, Egypt with both teams looking to record a maiden win in Group A.
While Tunisian clubs CS Sfaxien and Etoile du Sahel will both be looking to make it two wins in a row in Group C.
Sfaxien will be away to Senegalese side Jaraaf at the Stade Lat-Dior and Burkina Faso’s Salitas are scheduled to play host to Etoile at the Stade du 4 Août.
Meanwhile, Moroccan side RS Berkane will be eyeing another win in Group B when they take on Cameroonian giants Cotonsport at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium in Garoua.
A wounded Zambian side NAPSA Stars, who lost to Berkane last week, will face off with Algerian giants JS Kabylie at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
Stars’ local rivals, Nkana will be looking to cause an upset when they host Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in a Group D game at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Lastly, Tanzanian side Namungo is scheduled to welcome Egyptian big spenders, Pyramids in another Group D game at the National Stadium in Dar Es Saalam.
