Kenya have confirmed a 27-man squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt and Togo.
Coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee has called on foreign-based stars such as Michael Olunga, Masud Juma, Anthony Akumu as well as Eric Ouma and Joseph Okumu.
The Harambee Stars will host the Pharaohs for a Group G Matchday 5 clash on 25 March, before facing Togo away in the last round of the qualifiers four days later.
Egypt, seven-time African champions, are in the driving seat of Group G with eight points, tied with second placed Comoros and five points ahead of third-placed Kenya, while Togo (one point) complete the quartet.
Kenya’s squad will assemble with locally-based players today (Sunday 21 March) before foreign-based stars begin arriving from Monday.
