Kelechi Iheanacho fired Leicester City into a first FA Cup final since 1969.

The Nigeria international scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Southampton at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, to set up a meeting with Chelsea at the same venue next month.

Iheanacho converted from close range in the 55th minute, the same minute Moroccan midfielder Hakim Ziyech scored for the Blues in their win over Manchester City in the first semi-final on Saturday.

The 24-year-old has been in superb form for the Foxes this season, especially of late. Iheanacho has scored 15 times in 31 appearances across all competitions, including four in Leicester’s last three FA Cup matches. He has also netted seven goals in his last five Premier League games.

Leicester have never won the FA Cup, but will make their fifth final appearance on the 15th of May hoping to end a run of four runners-up finishes.
