Hakim Ziyech is hoping for a ‘special’ end to his first season at Chelsea.
The Morocco international fired the Blues to a 1-0 win over Manchester City on Saturday and into the 2021 FA Cup final where they will meet Leicester City.
Chelsea are also in the 2020-21 Uefa Champions League semi-finals after beating Porto on aggregate.
The London club will face Spanish giants Real Madrid over two legs for a place in the final, while they currently occupy fifth spot on the Premier League standings having enjoyed a significant upturn in results under Thomas Tuchel’s tutelage.
“It was a perfect week and we can enjoy that. Now it’s a special end to the season if you see what we are still playing for,” Ziyech said.
“All the ways are open and everybody is excited about it and we cannot wait to play those games.”
Ziyech moved to Stamford Bridge from Ajax Amsterdam last year. The 28-year-old has yet to hit full tilt as a Chelsea player, but will take confidence from Saturday’s winner against the Premier League leaders.
In total, he has scored five and assisted four goals in 30 matches across all competitions this season.
