Al Ahly were condemned to their first defeat of the 2020-21 Egyptian Premier League season on Wednesday evening and first since Pitso Mosimane took over the reins at the club.
The Red Devils conceded an incredible stoppage-time goal in a 2-1 defeat to Smouha SC.
In what was his last game for the club before joining Al-Ahli Tripoli on-loan, Hossam Hassan scored a goal to remember him by.
The 27-year-old shrugged off two Al Ahly players on his way to winning a long punt forward before producing a superb right-footed finish from way out that beat the retreating Mohamed El-Shenawy, who had ventured forward to take a free-kick.
Defeat leaves Al Ahly three points behind leaders Zamalek who have played two games more.
