Raja Casblanca eased their way into the 2020-21 CAF Confederation Cup semifinals with a 4-0 (5-1 on aggregate) second-leg win over Orlando Pirates at Stade Mohammed V in Morocco on Sunday.
The Green Eagles scored four goals in the first-half to complete a comprehensive win over two legs following a 1-1 draw in Soweto last week.
Ben Malango fired Raja in front in the sixth minute with a bullet header that put the visitors on the back foot from the onset.
Zakaria El Wardi doubled Raja’s lead in the 22nd minute after latching onto a ball from Soufiane Rahimi and the latter turned scorer seven minutes later to put the Moroccan club firmly in control.
Malango completed his brace in the 36th minute with a cool finish past Wayne Sandilands.
The Buccaneers improved after the interval, but never really tested Raja goalkeeper Anas Zniti.
Raja will face Pyramids FC, who beat Enyimba over two legs, for a place in the final. The 2018 champions beat the Egyptian club home and away in the group stages.
