Sundowns, Pirates eye home wins in DStv Premiership

The 2020/21 DStv Premiership action will resume in midweek with three matches taking place across South Africa.


Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to clinch the league title with a win over SuperSport United in a highly anticipated game on Wednesday.


The two teams are set to meet at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in the Tshwane Derby with Sundowns needing three points in order to win their fourth successive league title.


On the other hand, SuperSport need three points in order to secure a top-eight finish and qualify for next season’s MTN8.


Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to boost their hopes of finishing in the top eight when they face Black Leopards on Wednesday.


Leopards, who are desperate for a victory in order to ease their relegation woes, are scheduled to host Chiefs at the Thohoyandou Stadium.


Lastly, Pirates will be eager to boost their ambitions of finishing second in the league when they lock horns with AmaZulu FC on Thursday.


The Buccaneers will play host to an AmaZulu side which is currently placed second on the standings at the Mecca of South African football, Orlando Stadium.
