Tunisia have included Manchester United defender Hannibal Mejbri and Arsenal FC starlet Omar Rekik in their 29-man squad.
The Carthage Eagles are set to face DR Congo, Algeria and Mali on June 5, 11 and 15, respectively in international friendly matches.
Mejbri, who has been named United’s U23 Player of the Year for the 2020/21 season, was born in France to Tunisian parents.
Having played for the French under-16 and under-17 national teams, Mejbri made his English Premier League debut when he featured in United’s 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.
While Rekik signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in January 2021 having joined the Premier League giants from German Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin in the same month.
The 19-year-old player was born in the Netherlands and he has played for the Dutch national under-18 side and his older player Karim Rekik plays for the Netherlands and Spain’s Sevilla FC.
