Nigeria and Cameroon will renew their rivalry with a friendly international match at the Stadion Wiener Neustadt in Austria tonight.
In honour of this great African rivalry, we look back at the last time the teams met, a thrilling Africa Cup of Nations Round of 16 match held at the Alexandria Stadium in Egypt in July 2019.
The Super Eagles won a five-goal thriller 3-2, thanks to goals from Odion Ighalo (two) and Alex Iwobi, while the Indomitable Lions – the reigning AFCON champions at the time – netted through Stephane Bahoken and Clinton N’Jie.
