Chipolopolo Zambia has arrived in Benin on the penultimate leg of their June three-match-friendly tour.
FAZ spokesperson Sydney Mungala told AF that Zambia arrived in Cotonou from Dakar late Sunday afternoon just 24 hours after losing 3-1 in their opening friendly match against hosts Senegal in Thies.
“The team is injury free and midfielder Benson Sakala who missed the friendly game against Senegal could be back in training today,” Mungala said.
Chipolopolo takes on Benin on June 8.
It will be the two sides first meeting in over two years since drawing 2-2 in another friendly in Cotonou on October 13, 2019.
Chipolopolo will conclude their tour on June 11 away against Sudan at Omdurman.
