It has emerged that at least two more clubs are interested in Kaizer Chiefs striker Lazarus Kambole who has been linked with a move to Tanzanian club Young Africans.

Kambole has endured a forgettable time at Chiefs following his big move to the PSL in June, 2019 on a three-year deal from eight-time Zambian champions Zesco United.

“Well yes, Yanga are just one of a number of teams that are interested in him,” the source told AF.

“Azam and Al Hilal of Sudan plus a couple of other clubs in South Africa have also queried about Kambole.

“But Yanga are certainly in a good position in that they have the first -mover advantage.”

Interestingly, Yanga’s Dar es Salaam rivals Azam are coached by Kambole’s former boss at Zesco George Lwandamina.

“In fact, Azam approached Chiefs when the club was in Dar es Salaam to play Simba in their CAF Champions League quarterfinal game,” the source concluded.
