Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) targets Ovie Ejaria and Ademola Lookman are yet to be cleared to play for the Super Eagles.

The 23-year-old forward is expected to return to Leipzig having signed a five-year deal when he joined the club from Everton FC in July 2019.

While Ejaria is one of the key players at Reading where the 23-year-old central midfielder was involved in eight goals from 38 matches in the English Championship in the 2020/21 season.

Both players were part of the England squad which won the 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in South Korea.
