Royal AM will square off with Richards Bay in the South African PSL promotional/relegation play-offs match at the Chatsworth Stadium on Thursday.

Kick-off is at 3:00 pm CAT.

The Black and Gold were scheduled to lock horns with Chippa United in their first game in the play-offs at the Chatsworth Stadium on Tuesday.

However, Royal AM failed to turn up for the encounter and Chippa are expected to be awarded a 3-0 walkover victory.

Royal AM and PSL are currently in a court battle as the former are against the decision that saw their rivals Sekhukhune United clinch promotion to the top flight league from the GladAfrica Championship.

It remains to be seen whether Royal AM will turn up for their encounter against Richards Bay in the third populous city in South Africa, Durban.

Richards Bay will be desperate for a victory when they face their KwaZulu-Natal rivals Royal AM after they started their play-offs campaign with a defeat last weekend.

The Natal Rich Boys succumbed to a narrow 2-1 defeat to Chippa at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the opening game of the play-offs.

Chippa are currently placed at the top of the play-offs and they are left with two matches as they look to retain their status in the elite league.

The winner between Royal AM and Richards Bay will boost their hopes of securing promotion to the PSL.
