According to KingFut
, the Turkish giants are keen on signing the Mali international ahead of the 2021/22 season following a string of eye-catching performances for the Red Devils.
Dieng joined Al Ahly from Algerian club MC Alger in July 2019 and has established himself as an integral member of Pitso Mosimane’s team over the last two years.
The 23-year-old played 41 matches across all competitions last season and has already featured 36 times in the current campaign.
Dieng has started each of Al Ahly’s CAF Champions League matches this season and was key to the defending champions reaching next month’s final, where they will face Kaizer Chiefs.
Clubs from across Europe are said to be monitoring Dieng’s progress, but he won’t come cheap having put pen-to-paper on a new deal until 2026 earlier this year.
Galatasaray finished last season in second spot on the Turkish Super Lig standings, level on points with champions Besiktas, but missing out on the title on goal difference.
