Zambian winger Charles Zulu has left South Africa PSL club Cape Town City.
Zulu leaves Cape Town City FC less than a year after joining the PSL club in October 2020 from eight-time Zambian champions Zanaco.
“The club have reached an agreement with Tanzanian Premier League side Azam FC over the transfer of Charles Zulu. Wishing you all the best with your future endeavours Charlie!” Cape Town City FC said in a brief statement.
Zulu failed to make an impact in Cape Town FC were he played just two PSL matches and with no goals in a total of three competitive games.
His departure leaves striker Justin Shonga as the only Zambian still on Cape Town City’s roaster.
Zulu heads to the Dar es Salaam club where he will play under a very familiar face.
Azam are coached by ex- Zesco United coach George Lwandamina who joined the ambitious Tanzania club last December after parting ways
with the Zambian champions earlier in September.
