Kaizer Chiefs to complete marquee signing of Keagan Dolly

Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to complete the marquee signing of Keagan Dolly.

According to KickOff.com, Dolly will complete his move to the Amakhosi this week after reaching an agreement to join the club on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old is set to undergo his medical at Naturena on Tuesday before signing on the dotted line.

Dolly, who was also subject to reported interest from North Africa – in particular Egypt – and France, has been spending time in Johannesburg since becoming a free agent.

The former Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns winger spent four-and-a-half years at Ligue 1 club Montpellier where he managed a single goal in 64 appearances for the club.

The Bafana Bafana international starred for Sundowns prior to his move abroad and was an integral part of the Brazilians team that won the 2016 CAF Champions League under Pitso Mosimane’s tutelage.

Chiefs are also said to be close to signing Cole Alexander who confirmed his departure from Odisha FC last week.
