Serbian Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic is back in employment barely a fortnight after he parted company with the Football Association of Zambia.
Micho has just been appointed as Uganda coach on a three-year deal.
The Serbian left the Chipolopolo Zambia job on July 17 after a modest seventeen month reign in which he presided over 27 games out of which twelve were competitive matches winning four, drawing four and collecting as many defeats.
Micho’s fifteen-match friendly record with Zambia saw him win seven, draw four and lost four.
According to media sources, Micho’s Uganda contract will run from 2021 until 2024.
Micho returns to Uganda where he attained legendary status leading them to two successive CHAN tournament qualifications.
The highlight of his first term as Uganda coach saw him guide the Cranes to their first AFCON appearance since 1978 when they qualified for the Gabon 2017 tournament.
