Young Africans of Tanzania have invited Zanaco for an international friendly match.
Zanaco spokesperson Martha Nshimbi said the friendly will be played on August 29 in Dar es Salaam.
“Sensational Zanaco FC is scheduled to face Young Africans at National Stadium in Dar es Salaam in an international friendly match on Sunday August 29, 2021,” Nshimbi said in a statement.
“The match will be played on the Citizens’ Day that falls every year which is probably the biggest day for football fans in Tanzania, especially Yanga.”
Zanaco departs for Dar es Salaam this Friday.
Coach Kelvin Kaindu is going to use the game to fine-tune the 2020/2021 FAZ Super League runners-up for their 2021/2022 CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against Akonangui of Equatorial Guinea.
Zanaco are away in the first leg on September 12 in Ebebiyin.
