The Scandinavian-based duo of Edward Chilufya and Lubambo Musonda will join Chipolopolo in Mauritania.

Chilfuya of Swedish club Djurgardens, and Lubambo from Danish second tier side AC Horsens, are the only foreign-based call-ups who have missed the final phase of Chipolopolo’s just-ended ten-day training camp in Morocco that wrapped-up on August 31.

The duo is part of the eight foreign-based call-ups in Beston Chamnbeshi’s 22-member Chipolopolo team for the September 3 away date in Nouakchott against Mauritania and September 7 home game against Tunisia in Ndola.

“Lubambo Musonda and Edward Chilufya have flown directly to Nouakchott where they will link-up with the rest of the team on Wednesday morning,” FAZ   spokesperson Sydney Mundala said from  Casablanca before Zambia left Morocco for Mauritania on Tuesday evening.

Five foreign-based call-ups started trooping into Marrakech over the weekend and they include defender Tandi Mwape from DR Congo champions TP Mazembe and goalkeeper Mwenya Chibwe of Baroka FC in South Africa.

Midfielder Clatous Chama made the short trip from his Moroccan club RS Berkane on Sunday while the English-based duo of Patson Daka and Enock Mwepu jetted-in on Monday.

South African-based midfielder Roderick Kabwe of Black Leopards has been training with Chipolopolo since Zambia first entered camp in Lusaka on August 5.
