Defender Billy Mutale has made his third stop in two years since leaving South Africa Premier Soccer League club SuperSport United.
The Zambian defender, who left SuperSport at the end of 2019, has landed at FAZ Super League side Forest Rangers.
Mutale has signed a two -year deal with the 2019/2020 FAZ Super League runners-up.
“I am very happy to be part of this great team Forest Rangers. We just have to work hard together to achieve our objectives for the coming season,” Mutale told Forest Rangers media.
Mutale’s first stop after leaving SuperSport was at Nkana in January 2020 where he signed a short-term deal with them in the second half of the campaign.
He also won the league title that term with the record 13-time Zambian champions.
Mutale later moved to Forests’ Ndola rivals Buildcon at the start of the 2020/2021 before making the short switch to their fellow Levy Mwanawasa Stadium tenants this week.
The defender was part of Chipolopolo’s 2018 COSAFA Cup team that lost 4-2 to Zimbabwe in the final in Polokwane.
