Surprise FAZ Super League early leaders Buildcon eye a fourth successive victory this Sunday but still trying to convince everyone that their streak is not a fluke when they host first-timers Kafue Celtic in Ndola.
Buildcon enjoy a two point lead on a maximum 9 points after collecting two away wins and a home victory that included two significant 2-1 results on the road against fancied sides Green Eagles and Forest Rangers.
The results come after a difficult pre-season that saw the Ndola club only commence training a fortnight before the league kicked off after losing over eight first-team players in the midst of some administrative challenges.
“Everyone has got an opinion so at times people will say it is not a fluke, others would say it is fluke while others will support you and others will not support us,” Buildcon coach Boyd Mulwanda said.
“So if they say it is a fluke, we will keep on fighting until we convince them it is not a fluke.”
Buildcon are favourites again for the three points this Sunday against a Celtic side that is yet to win in its FAZ Super League debut season.
Celtic has 1 point from three games and are currently fifth from bottom plus come into the match on the back of two successive defeats.
They also return to the Copperbelt barely a week after Buildcon’s neighbours Forest beat them 4-1 on September 18 in Kitwe.
