Mohamed Salah on Saturday became the fastest player to score 100 league goals for Liverpool, reaching the century with a strike in the Reds’ 3-3 draw away to Brentford.
The Egyptian reached the milestone in 151 games, beating the old record of 152 set by club legend Roger Hunt.
He is also one of only four Liverpool players to have netted 100 times in the Premier League, alongside Michael Owen, Robbie Fowler and Steven Gerrard, and also entered the club’s list of top 10 all-time scorers with this latest strike.
Salah has 131 goals for Liverpool across all competitions, with the club record standing at 346 by the legendary Ian Rush.
