Power Dynamos battle to earn their first points of the 2021/2022 FAZ Super League season on Wednesday when they visit second placed Buildcon at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The ailing Kitwe giants currently lie second from bottom on the FAZ Super League table at number 17 on zero points after four games played.
“We will just concentrate on our team and won’t get disrupted by anyone doubting us. We will continue to focus and move forward,” a defiant-sounding Power Dynamos coach Masauso Tembo said.
“There is no small team, there is no big team, this is the Premier League, but yes, very disappointing results overall. Zero points, yes, but I will keep encouraging my players.”
But Power visits a Buildcon side that is hoping to quickly regain its composure following Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at the same venue to debutants Kafue Celtic.
That result saw Buildcon suffer their first league loss of the season and also relinquished their lead to Green Buffaloes.
Buildcon had held top-spot since the opening day of the FAZ Super League season during the weekend of September 11 in which period the Ndola club had raked in maximum 9 points in their first three matches before falling to Celtic.
Meanwhile, a fifth straight defeat for Power is not the kind of result they will be hoping for ahead of their last game this Saturday at home in Kitwe against Celtic before the October FIFA international break.
