The Patson Daka show is back on the road this Sunday when Leicester City make an EPL trip to face Brentford.
It has been an eventful seven days for the Chipolopolo striker who scored his EPL debut goal last Saturday in Leicester’s 4-2 win over Manchester United when he scored his sides winner in stoppage time.
Patson followed this up on Wednesday with four goals in Leicester’s UEFA Europa League away match in Russia where they humbled hosts Spartak Moscow 4-3.
His European exploits did not go unnoticed and was voted UEFA Europa League Player of the Week.
“He hss a natural ability to sniff out a goal and that will be proven here in the Premier League. Patson was always one we wanted to give that little bit of time to adapt, to our way of working, the league,” Leicester coach Brendan Rodgers told the UK Daily Mail.
Rodgers signed Patson in the summer on a UK £23 million five deal from Austrian champions RB Salzburg.
On Sunday, Patson is back in the spotlight in this mid-table date against 10th placed Brentford who are two places above Leicester on 12 and 11 points respectively after eight games played.
More goals for a third successive competitive game from Patson will be a befitting present for Zambia this weekend.
The match will be played on Zambia’s Independence Day that falls on October 24.
