Arrows make the short trip to Tanzania while Zanaco head to West Africa in their respective CAF Confederation Cup pre-group stage playoff ties.

Both Zambian envoys will be making debut dates against their respective playoff stage opponents.

Arrows begin their quest for a first-ever group stage appearance with a first leg away date against Simba SC who have just been eliminated from the CAF Champions League by Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana.

There will be a mini-reunion in store with Simba’s Chipoplopolo midfielder Larry Bwalya a very familiar figure to the Arrows camp from the player’s days at Power Dynamos whom he left in 2020 for the Tanzanian champions.

Simba will be playing their first Zambian opponent since the 2018/2019 CAF Champions League when they eliminated Nkana from the pre-group stage.

Meanwhile, Zanaco who were relegated from the CAF Champions League will begin their battle for redemption at home against Malian club Binga FC.

This is the first-time Zanaco will face Malian opposition since making their continental debut in 2002.

Zanaco are hoping to return to group stage action for the first time since the 2019/2020 CAF Confederation Cup when they made their quarterfinal debut in the competition.

The first leg fixtures are set for the weekend of November 28 and the final leg will be played during the weekend of December 5 to decide the 16 sides that will qualify to the CAF Confederation Cup group stage that kicks off next February.
