Angola will lock horns with Egypt in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification Group F match on Friday.

Kick-off is at 9 pm CAT.

The game is expected to take place at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in the capital and largest city in Angola, Luanda.

Palancas Negras suffered a 2-0 defeat to Gabon away in their last Group F match on October 11 and their hopes of qualifying for next year’s World Cup finals ended.

As a result, Angola are placed fourth on the Group F standings and they will be looking to secure their second in this stage.

Meanwhile, Egypt secured a 3-0 win over Libya away in their first Group F game on October 12 and the win boosted their hopes of reaching the finals.

Therefore, the Pharaohs are sitting at the top of the group standings – four points above second-placed Libya.

This will be the seventh between Angola and Egypt across all competitions.

The Pharaohs boast an unbeaten record against Palancas Negras having recorded four victories and two draws.

Match official Jean Jacques Ndala Ngambo from the Democratic Republic of the Congo will be in charge of the encounter between Angola and Egypt.
