Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala is grateful for the warmth he is receiving following his exploits at Scottish champions Glasgow Rangers but says it is all about team work and not The Fashion Sakala Show.

The striker is currently back at home in Zambia on 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers duty.

Chipolopolo fans are now eager to also see Fashion replicate his recent Rangers with  Zambia.

The highlight of  Fashions form came on October 31 when he scored a hat-trick in a 6-1 away league win over Motherwell.

“I don’t always put myself first that I will perform like I perform at the club. I think it is about the whole squad to perform well and then we are going to get the result,” Fashion said.

“The most important thing is to win and give the people and the country the happiness they deserve. That is the most important thing.

“So I am not looking at it as an individual performance but I would like the whole squad to perform and get the result and win for the people and the country to smile about.”

Meanwhile, Fashion joined the Chipolopolo camp on Wednesday ahead of Zambia’s final Group B qualifiers against Mauritania at home on November 13 and Tunisia away on November 16.

Fashion will be hunting for his second successive Group B goal after  scoring for Zambia in their 1-1 home draw against Equatorial Guinea in Lusaka on October 10.
