Dabid Chilufya has bounced back as Indeni coach barely ten months after quitting the Ndola club.
Chilufya returns to take over from the man who replaced him last February, Mwenya Chipepo, who left in October to take up the Power Dynamos job.
He returns to an Indeni side that is currently in the bottom four relegation zone at number 15 with 11 points from ten games and are without a league win in their last six matches in which period they have recorded four draws.
“Dabid Chilufya has been with the team before. He is well aware of the clubs’ philosophy,” Indeni FC president Stephen Lilongwe has said in a statement.
Chilufya, who cited technical reasons for his departure last February, guided Indeni to FAZ Super League promotion last season.
He returns following a brief spell at Indeni’s Ndola rivals Buildcon.
The ex-Chipolopolo midfielders’ first game is this Wednesday in a mid-week Ndola derby FAZ Super League date away to Forest Rangers at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
