FC Barcelona are reportedly keen on signing both Hakim Ziyech and Cedric Bakambu in the January transfer window.

According to AS, Ziyech is among three Chelsea players Barcelona are monitoring while Bakambu has been shortlisted as a possible short-term replacement for Sergio Aguero.

Ziyech has struggled for game time since moving to Stamford Bridge from Ajax Amsterdam in July 2020 and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with a move for the 28-year-old playmaker in recent weeks.

The Morocco international, who could come up against Bakambu’s Democratic Republic of Congo in the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-offs next year, has started just two Premier League matches this season.

China-based Bakambu is no stranger to the Spanish LaLiga having previously enjoyed a fruitful spell at Villarreal where he scored 47 goals in 105 appearances.

Furthermore, Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah continues to be linked with a move to Camp Nou with new Barca boss, Xavi, reportedly keen to work with the talented Egyptian winger.
