Zesco United dry spell persisted on Sunday when they salvaged a 1-1 home draw in their Ndola Derby clash against Forest Rangers at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
The result left the defending FAZ Super League champions winless in their last four games in which they have collected three draws and a loss.
Zesco and Forest went into the break scoreless before Thomas Chideu broke the deadlock in 66th minute.
But Forests’ lead lasted just two minutes when defender Adrian Chama equalised from the penalty spot in his first game back following a lengthy injury layoff.
Zesco have now gone exactly a month without a league victory since October 20 when they beat Kansanshi Dynamos 4-0 at the same venue.
The champions are 8th after the draw with 15 points, thirteen points behind leaders Green Buffaloes after ten and twelves games played respectively.
Forests are 7th and a point ahead of Zesco.
Meanwhile, there is no break for Zesco this week and they are on the road to face 14th positioned Prison Leopards in Kabwe on Wednesday before returning home for another Ndola Derby clash over the weekend against number three team Buildcon.
