Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United will renew their rivalry when the two Tshwane giants meet in an epic DStv Premiership match on Wednesday.
Sundowns are hoping to maintain their unbeaten record in the current season when they face their city rivals at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium having drawn 0-0 with Cape Town City away on Saturday.
The reigning DStv Premiership champions will be up against a SuperSport side which is wounded having succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Marumo Gallants side in Tshwane (Pretoria) on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they square off with a stubborn AmaZulu FC side at the iconic FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Chiefs defeated Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg United in their last two matches, while AmaZulu extended their unbeaten run to three games when they drew 2-2 with Stellenbosch FC on Saturday.
Pirates will also be in action on Wednesday as they take on an unbeaten Stellenbosch side at the Danie Craven Stadium in the Western Cape.
The Buccaneers are winless in their last two matches having drawn 0-0 with Lamontville Golden Arrows on Saturday and they will be desperate for a win against Stellies.
Lastly, Gallants will be confident of making it two wins in a row when they host a struggling Maritzburg side at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
