Chipolopolo strikers Patson Daka and Fashion Sakala are in UEFA Europa League action for their respective British clubs on Thursday night.
In England, Patson’s side Leicester City hosts Legia Warsaw of Poland in a penultimate Group C match at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.
Leicester may be bottom of Group C but they are still in with last minute hopes of finishing top.
Patson’s club has 5 points, one less than the visiting Poles and are two points adrift of leaders Spartak Moscow and second positioned Napoli who are tied on 7 points after the Italians lost 2-1 away in Russia on Wednesday.
Leicester will also be out to avenge their 1- 0 first leg loss away in Poland on September 30.
The spotlight will also fall on Patson who has not scored in the competition since his match-day-three four-goal exploits on October 20 in Leicester’s 4-3 away win over Spartak.
Meanwhile, across the border in Scotland, Fashion will be hoping to impress new Glasgow Rangers coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the bosses’ second competitive match in charge since the Dutchman replaced Steven Gerrard who left a fortnight ago to join Aston Villa.
But Fashion has yet to score in Europe since joining Rangers from KV Oostende in July to complement his 4 goals from nine league matches since joining the Scottish champions.
The Chipolopolo striker may start from the bench this evening for Rangers who host Czech club Sparta as Prague when second-battles-third for a play-off spot.
The two sides are tied on 4 points each heading into their penultimate Group B fixture at Ibrox.
French club Olympique Lyon have won Group A with two games to spare on 12 points while their Danish hosts this evening Brondby are last on 2 points.
