Shepolopolo Zambia U17 are through to the 2021 COSAFA U17 Women’s Cup playoff final in Lesotho.


Zambia beat  Namibia 2-0 on Sunday morning in  their final  round-robin match  in  Maseru  where  the  COSAFA  U17  WOMENS  Cup  is being held under the ambit of  the  2021 Region 5  Youth  Games that Lesotho  is  hosting from December 1-13.


Blessings  Zulu  tapped in  the first goal in the 11th minute  after  a neat one-two with Woman Of The Match Pumulo Lubasi from a move  the scorer initially started.


Gracious Tailoshi later hammered in a long-range volley in the 33rd minute after picking out Namibia goalkeeper Tjikarerera Uumburu off her line.


Kaluba Kangwa’s side finish top of the three-team round-robin event on 6 points after kicking off the tournament with a 3-1 win over Botswana 3-1 on December 2.


Zambia will face Namibia or Botswana in Monday’s playoff final.


Namibia and Botswana play early Sunday evening to decide who goes through to the playoff final on December 6.
