Ex FAZ general secretary Kasengele dies

Ex FAZ general secretary George Kasengele has passed away.
His brother Mwita Kasengele confirmed the former FAZ CEO’s death in a brief statement on Friday.
Mwita said Kasengele died after a short illness in the early hours of Friday morning at University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka where he was admitted on Tuesday afternoon.
Kasengele served as FAZ General Secretary during the reign of Kalusha Bwalya from 2008 to 2016.
Prior to that, Kasengele served as a FAZ Executive Committee from 2000 to 2008.
