Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi believes form is not a factor heading into Sunday Kitwe derby against guests Power Dynamos at Nkana Stadium.
Visitors Power comes into the derby on a five-match winning run and are unbeaten overall in their last seven.
Nkana on the other hand have won their last two games but picked up three draws and a loss prior to that.
“The Kitwe derby is a different ball game. I think even the boys always pull up their soaks when they are playing the derby,” Chambeshi said.
“All that I need to do is push and lift them. I believe they will come to the party and do wonderful things for the team.”
Last season, Nkana lost the first leg 3-0 at home in February but avenged that loss in May with a 2-0 away victory at Arthur Davies Stadium.
Meanwhile, Third placed Power and fifth positioned Nkana are tied on 22 points from fifteen matches played and are eight points behind leaders Green Buffaloes.
