Green Buffaloes coach Justin Chinama is very concerned about the FAZ Super League leaders form after ending the first half of the on a five-match winless run.
Buffaloes began the 2021/2022 season on a flying note in which they were unbeaten in their opening twelve games and have led the campaign since Week 3.
“Tough luck that we will end the first round on a loss but we will go back on the break and reorganise ourselves so that, come the second half of the league, we start winning,” Chinama said.
Buffaloes have gone into the Christmas break after suffering back-to-back league defeats.
They lost 2-1 away to Power Dynamos on Friday in Kitwe and 3-2 at home in Lusaka to Buildcon on December 11.
Buffaloes have also collected just two points from their last five matches since a 2-1 home win over Konkola Blades on November 20.
Meanwhile, Buffaloes’ three-point lead is under threat today and could be cut to zero if second placed Green Eagles beat Forest Rangers away in Ndola.
