James Chamanga will miss Red Arrows game against Indeni on Wednesday after losing his father.

Arrows disclosed in a statement on Wednesday that Chamanga has travelled to Luanshya for the funeral.

“Red Arrows and AFCON winner James Chamanga has lost his father in Luanshya,” Arrows stated.

“Chamanga’s father passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 after an illness.”

Chamanga is Arrows joint top scorer together with Ricky Banda on 5 goals after sixteen games played.

The second placed side are in mid-week action against fourth from bottom Indeni in a rescheduled Week 17 match at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

However, Arrows have not indicated whether Chamanga would also be unavailable for their next match this Saturday in their big home date against defending FAZ Super League champions Zesco United.
