Green Buffaloes snatched a stoppage time equalizer away to Lusaka Dynamos at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka on Friday to maintain their slender lead on the FAZ Super League table.

Striker Friday Samu converted a 9th minute penalty to  earn Buffaloes a 1-1 draw with Dynamos after trailing one-nil at halftime after the hosts went ahead in the 8th minute via Kangwe Sinyangwe  goal.

Samu’s equalizer saw him redeem himself after hitting the post in the 18th minute and shooting inches wide in the 59th minute.

Buffaloes have 31 points after drawing with third from bottom Dynamos who have 16 points.

However, Buffaloes fifteen-week long reign is under threat this Saturday when second placed Red Arrows host third positioned Zesco United.

Arrows and defending FAZ Super League champions Zesco have 30 and 28 points respectively heading into their big clash at Edwin Emboela Stadium in Lusaka.
