Sudan will battle it out with Guinea-Bissau in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) encounter on Tuesday.

Kick-off is at 21:00 CAT.

This Group D match will take place at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium in a port city and the capital of the North Region of Cameroon, Garoua.

The Falcons of Jediane are making their ninth appearance in the tournament and they won this competition in 1957 after defeating Ethiopia in the final.

Dangerous forward Mohamed Abdelrahman and experienced goalkeeper Ali Abu Eshrein are the players to watch out for in this Sudanese side.

The Falcons of Jediane are under the guidance of Burhan Tia, who was only appointed last month – replacing French tactician Hubert Velud.

Meanwhile, Guinea-Bissau will be making just their third appearance in the AFCON finals and it is their third consecutive participation in the tournament.

The Djurtus (African Wild Dogs) will look to AS Monaco midfielder Pele (Judilson Mamadu Tuncará Gomes) and former SC Braga winger Piqueti (Djassi Brito Silva).

Bissau-Guinean coach Baciro Cande remains in charge of the Djurtus having guided the team to the 2017, 2019, and 2021 AFCON finals.

The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier at the Stade de Marrakech in Morocco.
