Baroka FC and Summerfield Dynamos progressed to the Nedbank Cup Last 16 after winning their matches on Friday.
Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele edged out Stellenbosch FC 1-0 in the Last 32 game at the Danie Craven Stadium in the evening.
Therefore, Bakgaga Ba Mphahlele advanced to the Last 1, while their DStv Premiership rivals bowed out of the tournament.
Kgoloko Thobejane, the Baroka coach, decided to make a change after the restart as he introduced the hard-running Thamsanqa Masiya, who made an immediate impact.
Masiya pounced and scored with a lovely finish to hand Baroka a 1-0 lead with 18 minutes left on the clock after Athenkosi Mcaba had given away possession in his own-half.
Meanwhile, Summerfield caused an upset when they claimed a 1-0 win over Uthongathi FC in the Last 32 game at the Princess Magogo Stadium in the afternoon.
Mcedi Vandala scored the only goal of the match in the 22nd minute with Deolin Mekoa providing the assist as the ABC Motsepe League side stunned the GladAfrica Championship outfit.
The Last 16 draw of the South African FA Cup will be conducted later this month.
