The status quo prevailed in the top three of the FAZ Super League following draws for leaders Red Arrows and defending champions Zesco in their respective Thursday fixtures.
At Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe, Arrows were held to a scoreless draw by hosts Power Dynamos.
It was a cagey affair with Power’s best chance coming in the 6th minute when Arrows goalkeeper Ken Mumba denied Joshua Mutale and Lameck Kafwaya in quick succession.
Arrows’ best opportunity came in the 23rd minute when Power goalkeeper Sebastian Mwange kept-out Joseph Phiri’s effort from a James Chamanga corner.
Power ended the match with ten men in the 89th minute when Luka Chamanga was sent-off for a second bookable offence.
The result sees Arrows maintain their eight-point lead with six games left to play on 56 points while Power are sixth on 39 points.
Meanwhile, Zesco stayed second after also finishing scoreless away to third position Green Eagles in Choma.
Both sides are tied on 48 points but Zesco have a match in hand.
At Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka, fifth placed Green Buffaloes blew away an opportunity to replace Nkana at number four when they finished 1-1 at home against Kafue Celtic.
Buffaloes are now one point behind Nkana on 40 points.
At Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, 11th placed Forest Rangers ended a three-match winless spell after beating relegation battlers Chambishi FC 2-0.
Quadri Kola put Forest ahead via a 20th minute penalty and ex-Jomo Cosmos forward Clifford Mulenga scored in the 84th minute to record his 7th goal of the season.
