Great Olympics head coach Annor Walker insists he has a good job at the Accra Sports Stadium in the wake of rumours that his sacking is imminent.

Oly Dade slipped to seventh in the Ghana Premier League standings after a 1-0 defeat to Ashanti Gold in the capital last Friday.

Fans of the Accra-based club were not happy with the team’s performance and made their feelings known to Walker after the final whistle.

However, the Ghanaian tactician was quick to point out that his side had been challenging for league honours not too long ago, although he will happily step aside if the board deems it necessary.

“If this is how they will pay me back, it’s okay. I have done a lot of good works for the club and at a point in time we were title contenders,” Walker told Hot FM.

“If Olympics feels I’m not good for the club again, they can sack me but surely, I will not go hungry. God will take care of me.”

Great Olympics will look to snap a two-match losing streak when they take on relegation-threatened Eleven Wonders at Ohene Ameyaw Park on Saturday.
