Liverpool star Mohamed Salah dropped a bombshell earlier this week, making a bold proclamation as the Red’s look to end their 21/22 season on a high.
Salah and company are currently in contention to land an impressive quadruple trophy haul as they remain one of the top clubs in Europe at the moment.
Having already bagged the Carabao Cup earlier this season, Liverpool are looking to claim the Premier League, FA Cup and the coveted UEFA Champions League crown.
For the Egyptian, Salah has once again been one of the club’s top performers this season with many fans feeling that a FIFA Ballon d’Or award could well be on the cards for the 29-year-old.
In 48 appearances this season, Salah has racked up an astonishing 30 goals and 16 assists and recently mentioned that he is the best player in his position.
“If you compare me with any player in my position,” Salah told beIN Sports.
“Not only in my team but in the world, you will find that I am the best.
“I always focus on my work and do my best and my numbers are the best proof of my words.
“I like to always create a new challenge for me, to work in a different way and to make a difference and that is my duty.”
