Baroka FC earned crucial three points in their bid to stay in the DStv Premiership, following their 3-1 win over SuperSport United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Also, a 0-0 draw between Swallows FC and Chippa United meant that Baroka, along with the Dude birds, head into the last game of the season level on points (25).

TS Galaxy and Marumo Gallants played to a 0-0 stalemate at the Mbombela Stadium, as the Rockets remained in 14th spot on the log, just two points ahead of Swallows in the relegation play-off zone.

The draw between Galaxy and Gallants now means that Maritzburg United require just a point in their final game to secure their place in the division for next season.

Also, Cape Town City welcomed AmaZulu FC at the Cape Town Stadium this weekend, as the coastal sides played to a 0-0 draw. Coach Eric Tinkler and his side have extended their unbeaten streak to 13 matches and kept their hopes alive of ending the season in second spot.

Golden Arrows and Royal AM produced a four goal thriller at the Sugar Ray Zulu Stadium, with all the goals recorded in the first half of the match.

Elsewhere, Sekhukhune United hosted Kaizer Chiefs at the Emirates Airline Stadium, with Ramahlwe Mphahlele scoring the only goal of the match as Amakhosi came away with a 1-0 victory.

In what was one of the big results of the weekend, Stellenbosch FC put three past Mamelodi Sundowns at the Tuks stadium. The Western Cape outfit are just two points shy of Chiefs, who occupy the 4th spot, as the race for CAF competition will be decided on the last day.
