Mosimane to give back with special ’Soccer School’

After giving supporters a teaser announcement earlier this week, Pitso Mosimane’s agency have revealed that the Al Ahly mentor will be launching a soccer schools programme later this year.

As mentioned, the MT Sports Marketing agency took to their social media handles on Tuesday in mentioning that a big announcement was set to be made.

Described as a ’new chapter’ in his football legacy, it has now been revealed that the former Mamelodi Sundowns mentor will be launching the ‘Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools’ in 2022.

“We are proud to announce that the PITSO MOSIMANE SOCCER SCHOOLS is launching this year and we have exciting partnerships at hand”, said MT Sports in captioning their statement on Twitter and Instagram.

The statement went on to explain the purpose of the soccer school and how they intend on giving back to South African football.

“The Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools are part of Coach Pitso’s legacy of not only creating the player of tomorrow but also ensuring that he contributes towards football in South Africa for it to go back to the level of excellence that we know it to be, and most importantly reaching new heights,” said Moira Tlhagale, Managing Director of MT Sports Marketing and Management.

“The aim of the Pitso Mosimane Soccer Schools is to develop a football programme that will have a holistic approach to growing a player both on and off the field. The player of tomorrow will be balanced academically, socially, and most importantly, technically.

“In the coming weeks, the public can look out for updates on the PMSS social media pages to learn more about the programme elements as well as follow the journey of the soccer schools.”
