Relive Pirates’ and Berkane’s last CAFCC finals

South Africa’s Orlando Pirates and Moroccan club RS Berkane will meet at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria this evening for the final of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Pirates’ only previous CAFCC final appearance was in 2015, when they succumbed 2-1 on aggregate at the hands of Tunisia’s Etoile du Sahel. The teams drew 1-1 in Soweto, before EES won the return game in Sousse 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ammar Jemal.

Berkane, meanwhile, last played in the CAFCC final in the 2019-20 season, defeating Pyramids of Egypt 1-0 in a one-off match played in Rabat. Issoufou Dayo scored the Oranges’ goal just 15 minutes into the match.
